Jesus, aka “Devils" decided to bounce the Indiana Dukes 13 barrio after cops found a dude’s body nearby. After that, the cops started patrolling the area and found evidence—including weapons used to hurt the victim—plus Indiana Dukes 13 graffit on a bunch of walls. With things getting hot, Devils and the rest of his crew moved over to the Jefferson area and started fresh out on the streets.
Story
The Varrio Indiana Dukes (VIDKS), also known as Indiana Dukes 13 (IDKS13) and Indiana Street Dukes 13 are an Mexican-American street gang located around East Los Santos. Members of the Indiana Dukes 13, are known to sport apparel by the Duke Blue Devils (Duke University). The number “13” signify their alliance with The Mexican Mafia, a notorious Mexican criminal organization that operates within the Los Santos prison system. The Indiana Dukes are a multi-generational street gang despite, originating in East Los Santos, parts of their varrio extends into the Boyle Heights, neighborhood in the city of Los Santos.
The Indiana Dukes mainly feud with other Mexican-American street gangs near their varrio such as the Clika Los Primos, White Fence, Varrio Nuevo Estrada, Opal Street Locos, King Kobra Rifa, Little Valley Rifa and the Laguna Park Vikings. In 2011, Alfredo “Freddy” Morales, better known on the streets as Osito, was an active member of the Indiana Dukes, who was shot and killed by a rival gang in the parking lot of a near-by Food-4-Less.
Following the death of Alfredo, the Indiana Dukes remained dormant for several years; however, a young man named Jesus "Rapper" Diaz revived the group, bringing together five core members—all of whom were from his own neighborhood. Despite facing numerous trials and obstacles from gangs that had long-standing conflicts with the Indiana Dukes, Jesus remained determined to restore the group to its former glory.
They have repeatedly had run-ins with the police over criminal activities—ranging from the sale of illicit drugs and weapons to territorial feuds—but they are remarkably cunning, often paying off the authorities with bribes. Because of their relentless determination and the fact that they are so difficult to stop, they have earned the nickname "Blue Devils."
An interesting fact is that the members of the Indiana Dukes are young—aged 15 to 20—yet they possess a strong spirit, firm determination, and a bold nature. Under the leadership of Jesus, the Indiana Dukes have continued to grow, and they are now recognized as the largest gang in East Los Santos.
